Ohio provides three avenues leading to teacher licensure. The College of Education and Human Services provides you with access to them all. Your field of study will determine the specific requirements for obtaining your teaching license; licensure is organized by subject matter and/or grade level. Prerequisites for licensure include a bachelor’s degree, content area courses, and graduate level teacher preparation for some areas.
