Praxis Study Guides

Praxis exams are used to assess the skills and knowledge of those aspiring to be teachers and those who are serving as beginning teachers. These tests are mandated by the State of Ohio.

Praxis offers 3 categories of assessent:

Praxis I: Academic Skills Assessments- for those entering a teacher-training program

Praxis II: Subject assessments - for licensure for entering the teaching profession

Praxis III: Classroom Performance Assessments - for first year teachers

To assist exams takers in successfully preparing to take Praxis tests, the Educational Resource Center makes available study guides for many of the Praxis I, II, and III tests. A current list is provided below.
