The Multi-Age program leads to licensure to teach Spanish and the option of completing a Master of Education degree. The graduate program is designed for five-quarters of full-time study and internship requiring a Monday through Friday commitment.

Applicants must have a bachelor's degree, meet content requirements, and pass content Praxis II examinations. Upon successful completion of the licensure portion of the program and passing any one of the Praxis II exams in the Principles of Learning and Teaching, candidates are eligible for a provisional Multi-Age license in the specific content area.

MODERN LANGUAGE - SPANISH
Bachelor of Arts - Spanish (B.A.)

The Multiage Modern Language - Spanish Licensure Program is based on an undergraduate B.A. degree in Spanish, graduate coursework and an option of completing a Master of Education (M.Ed.).

Graduates of the Bachelor of Arts - Spanish and graduate coursework and appropriate Praxis II exams are eligible to request licensure from the Ohio Department of Education. Upon completion of the undergraduate degree program in the College of Liberal Arts, students have the option of completing the Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in the College of Education and Human Services. The graduate portion of the program is required for teacher licensure.

Optional Master of Education (M.Ed.)

This program is designed for five-quarters of full-time study and internship. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree, meet content requirements, and pass the OPI examination. Other admissions criteria apply, please visit with a Teacher Licensure Advisor to learn the details of the admissions process to the Graduate Level Initial Licensure program in Adolescent to Young Adult licensure.

Upon successful completion of the licensure portion of the program and passing of any of the Praxis II exam in Principles of Learning and Teaching, and the OPI and WPT exams, candidates are eligible apply for an Ohio provisional Adolescent to Young Adult license in the concentration area that applies to the candidate's preparation.

Candidates have the option of completing a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree.
