Students can typically complete an MST degree in two summers and the intervening academic year. To accommodate teacher's schedules, courses offered during the academic year are generally in the evenings, weekends, and/or online. Students can complete most of their field-based course requirements during the first summer, take online courses during the academic year, and return to complete their project presentation in the last quarter the student is registered.

MST - EARTH SCIENCE
Master of Science in Teaching

Degree without teaching licensure.

Students can typically complete an MST degree in two summers and the intervening academic year. To accommodate teacher's schedules, courses offered during the academic year are generally in the evenings, weekends and/or online.  Students can complete most of their field-based course requirements during the first summer, take online courses during the academic year, and return for MST Project presentation and any remaining course work during the second summer.

Note: The MST can lead to teaching certification in Earth Science; however, the College of Education and Human Services (CEHS) approves applications for licensure. Contact CEHS for a review of your transcripts and course requirements.
