Have you ever thought about using Microsoft Excel but were afraid to try? I was, but now use it more than any other computer software tool. Learn quick and easy ways to collect, sort, analyze, and display data. Believe it or not, it's not all that difficult! Use it to monitor student progress, create learning activities for your classroom, and discover the amazing amount of raw data about your school and district that is available from the Ohio Department of Education's website. You'll even learn how to use it to solve practical tasks at home like creating mailing labels, holiday gift and card lists, household inventories and budgets, CD and video library lists, etc. The focus will be on practical applications to improve instruction and solve record keeping challenges using this powerful tool.
