COMMUNITY COUNSELING
Master of Science (M.S.) or Master of Arts (M.A.)
The program of study prepares graduates to work with individuals of all ages on a variety of issues (e.g., abuse and neglect, crisis, substance abuse, personal, career, mental illness, and/or interpersonal problems). The curriculum provides a blend of counselor training experiences designed to provide the skills and knowledge necessary to become a professional counselor. Additional coursework can lead to a professional counselor license.
The College of Education and Human Services Community Counseling program (M.S. and M.A. degrees) are accredited by CACREP through October 31, 2011.
