Athletic Training Camp
WSU Athletic Training in conjunction with Kettering Sports Medicine Clinic has hosted a camp for high school student sports medicine aides for the past four years. This workshop is designed to introduce students to the field of Sports Medicine.

Athletic Training Camp
Topics include basic taping and bandaging, basic anatomy, initial injury management, prevention of injuries, functional rehabilitation, mental aspects of injuries, careers in sports medicine, and other related topics.

Daily Schedule:
The camp begins on a session and pizza party on Sunday evening. Monday and Tuesday the camp runs from 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. The camp ends on Wednesday at noon.
Location
The camp is held at the Ervin J. Nutter Center's Berry Conference Room with the exception of the cadaver workshop. On Monday evening campers are encouraged to enjoy dinner and the baseball game at the Dayton Dragons facility downtown Dayton.
Cost
The cost of this camp is $135 for commuters and $260 for residential campers. Group rates are available for schools with three or more attendees ($125 commuter/$250 residential per person).
