LIBRARY MEDIA- INITIAL LICENSE
Multiage

Students seeking a Multiage Library Media license, who have a bachelors degree but who do not have a current teaching certificate or license, need to complete a 72 hour program of study. They must also pass one of the Praxis II Principles of Learning and Teaching (PLT) exams - K-6, or 5-9, or 7-12. We recommend the PLT 7-12 as it has the highest pass rate. In addition to a PLT exam, candidates also need to pass the Praxis II content knowledge exam for library media.

The candidate is then eligible for recommendation for the Multiage Library Media License (#050675) license. M.Ed. coursework can be applied to the licensure requirements.
