Multiage Library/Media Licensure Information (Revised Fall 2007)
Requires 52 hours of coursework. Library/Media master's degree coursework can be applied toward these hours.

Students seeking licensure in library media multiage through the College of Education and Human Services at Wright State University must hold a teaching credential. Students who do not have teaching credentials must complete the requirements for that licensure prior to the granting of licensure in library media multiage.

Program Requirements
The holder of a standard teaching credential may become licensed in library media multiage by completing 52 quarter hours fulfilled through the following courses: (additional courses required for M.Ed. degree)

EDT 700 Entry Seminar (2 hrs.)

EDT 731 School Library Media I (5 hrs.)
EDT 732 School Library Media II (5 hrs.)
EDT 733 School Library Media III (5 hrs.)
EDT 715 Information Retrieval (2 hrs.)
EDT 721 Cataloging and Classification (4 hrs.)
EDT 751 Media Literacy I (4 hrs.)
EDT 763 Young Adult Literature (4 hrs)

ED 721 Literature for Elementary Children (3 hrs.)
ED 716 Foundations of Reading (3 hrs.)

EDT 734 Internship (1 hr.)
EDT 799 Exit Seminar (2 hrs.)
