Improve your Leadership Skills. The Department of Educational Leadership offers a planned program of study to obtain a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership. Choose from concentrations in Principalship, Superintendent, or Professional Development. Additional coursework will qualify you for a license.

SUPERINTENDENT
License

Students seeking a license in Superintendent must hold a current teaching certificate or license and a masters degree in Educational Leadership. Students who do not have a current (expired) teaching credential must complete the renewal requirements for a license prior to the granting of the license in Superintendent.

Upon successful completion of the Superintendent licensure program of study and passing the Praxis II exam in Educational Leadership: Administration and Supervision (#10410), the holder of an Ohio standard teaching credential is eligible for a Superintendent license (#68).
